The American Conservative is a monthly magazine edited by Scott McConnell, widely published columnist, formerly the editorial page editor for the New York Post, and Ph.D in history from Columbia University.  McConnell founded the magazine in 2003 along with Pat Buchanan, well known pundit, writer and three-time presidential candidate, and Taki Theodoracopulos, influential contributor to a number of other conservative publications.

The American Conservative provides commentary on both political and cultural issues.  It is opposed to open borders and globalism and supports traditional American values.  This magazine sharpens the debate over the future of the Conservative movement.
