Thinking Critically. Living Faithfully.
The Christian Century has for decades defined the liberal wing of Protestant Christianity. It has addressed issues of civil rights, poverty, gender equality, environmentalism, and other matters of social justice. It was the first national publication to print Martin Luther King Jr. letter from Birmingham Jail. The Century pursues conversations with non-Christian thinkers and with Christian theologians of all denominations. Besides focusing on public issues, the magazine takes up issues of biblical interpretation, church leadership, spiritual formation, and theological identity.
The magazine is published bi-weekly for an annual subscription of $65.00
